Spec me a Headset :)

lol, i was having the discussion with someone about why a decent pair of headphones is better than all these 'gaming 5.1/7.1' headsets. They were not having it at all....

How can i prove it?! :p

Do USB headsets even use a soundcard if you have one? I didn't think they did...

Mate Ive just got these, seem to be a fairly decent headset :)

Out of interest how do you use the voice FX feature ? Can you only use it if you have a sound blaster sound card (feel conned if so ha ha)

nope most of them have a sound processing unit which comes with them

as for the argument maybe try getting him to listen to each with the 5.1/7.1 one in 2.0 mode
