Spec me a humourous, comical, witty or otherwise fun Science related book.

The Meaning of Liff - Douglas Adams :)
Not really very science-y, though, is it?

I'll third the Bill Bryson book, while I'm at it. Contains lots of interesting general science anecdotes from a layman's perspective, like the bitter Victorian paleontology wars, and early divers getting fatally sucked up through their breathing tubes due to pressure loss.
