Spec me a... Iighter

Sometimes I just get it out to flick it open and close it for a few minutes. :D

they do make a satisfying click dont they :D

Most of the ones I have still have the seal across the back of them, I bought a cheapo crappy one so I could use it everynow and again without ruining the good ones (yes, I do realise how sad that is)

They've got a lifetime guarantee! You can run them over and they'll still fix them for free. Use and abuse.

Any Zippo pocket lighter, when returned to our factory, will be put in first-class mechanical condition free of charge, for we have yet to charge a cent for the repair of a Zippo pocket lighter, regardless of age or condition. The finish, however, is not guaranteed.
Other Zippo products carry their own specific warranties.

if i take the seals off they loose some of the value, like I said I know I'm a sad case with this but I've got a pretty big collection now with some (relatively) rare ones in mint condition.

I've got a few that I definately dont mind using and abusing :)

I wouldn't recommend any butane lighters as I've got a Zippo and had a Turbojet one and they both burned a ridiculous amount of butane, especially the Zippo.

A normal Zippo is the way to go, looks nice, feels nice in the hand, lasts much longer between refills and of course, the classic Zippo 'clink' sound.
