Yes, it is, but if you can do it on a pan, it's hardly going to be bad. The best piece of steak I've had was cooked in front of me.

p.s. I have most of the stuff you listed, Sous Vid, inverter microwave, Nutra Ninja, blender etc, on top of Niche Zero, Espresso machine, Gelato machine, old school waffle iron pan, so much kitchen gadgets.

p.s. gave away my George Foreman :p Or to be specific, I took it to uni and left it in the communal kitchen because I didn't want it anymore.
