ive been using a wireless logitech keyboard and mouse and its recently died on me... left me in a little bit of a bind. luckily i had an old mouse and keyboard that i could use until new equip arrives... but what do i get?

Really love my Roccat Kone, had a load of mice and this is my fav,

Had the G19 which really is a beast of a keyboard its just too expensive!

Would probably go for a G15, My next will be the Roccat Valo :)

You could try out a keyboard with mechanical switches. They are high quality keyboards and built to last, examples are the Filco and the Das keyboards and they come with various switch options to give you clicky and tactile feel when pressing the keys.

The switches are Cherry MX switches with the blue ones being clicky and tactile and the brown ones just tactile. There is a black Cherry MX switch that is a silent switch. Also, you could try to locate a "Buckling Spring" mechanical keyboard such as an original IBM model M, the daddy of them all.

None of these are cheap, however, they are superior to most of the modern keyboards.

Finally, if you are really flush, you could consider a Topre Realforce, very expensive but top class.

S510 keyboard (low profile) and an MX Revolution.

You haven't said what sort of things you are after, or what you use them for - until then you're just going to get personal preferences thrown your way.
