So my old faithful Saitek Eclipse II is starting to fail. Purchased way back in 2006 I think it's now served its purpose and can be laid to rest.

Cost doesn't really matter, it needs to be full size, have media keys and num pad.

I wan't something that is going to be quiet and ideally keys similar to that of my current keyboard. I don't like flat keys.

I code for 8 hours a day so it needs to be comfortable and easy on the ears. I don't want to be hearing CLUNK CLINK CLUNK all day.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Mechanical keyboards aren't too loud. Just avoid MX Blue switches so you don't have the click, click sound, and don't hammer the keys down when you type.

I code on my Filco with Cherry MX browns all day (and most evening currently :/) and game when I can.

I've never go back from mechanical, even with the extra noise they produce. I haven't had RSI in a long while from typing!

Doesn't seem to be much in rgb under 100.
I want a g810 with cherry switches and closest I can find is k70, which I believe is discontinueD

Personally I can't justify above 100, want rgb, and don't need macro keys

I went with a G810 in the end. Stunning keyboard. The only reason I didn't go for the Corsair was because I already have the Logitech gaming software installed for my G29 Wheel.

I'm extremely happy with it and it's no where near as clunky as I was expecting it to be.

I think I will end up with the same. Was concerned about the custom switches.
I also have logitech mouse too. It's it different enough from membrane keyboard?

Its a bit late now buy another suggestion would to be get a mechanical keyboard that works with Easy Avr, some keyboards like the Filco can be modded to work with this.

That will allow you to turn your keyboard into a programable one, you can have 10 different layers and program the keys to be whatever you like.
