spec me a laptop for 550

i know i am asking a lot of questions, but i want to get the best for my money, can you spec me a good laptop for 550 ?

if i do not find one i like i will push to 750 to get sony vaio

two things you didn't state when you would be in a position to buy and you also said you could go to £750 (albeit for a Sony?)

It wasn't that price when posted either it was in the $550 range?

thanks man and soryr for the info, if i was to buy the sony it would be 2-3 months down the line =] sorry :L feel like a right tool now
