Spec me a Laptop

Hi all,

I am considering buying a new laptop within the next couple of weeks. I have been tempted to buy a G4 iBook (2nd hand) on ebay for around £450.00 but I would consider paying around the same for a brand new PC laptop if it is has some or all of the features:

(i)Quite Compact and thin.
(ii)Reasonably light.
(iii)Minimal/Catching design.

Any ideas? Any questions?

my laptop

I got a reconditioned Toshiba Equiem 1.6gig celeron with 512 ram, 40 gig hd, very thin, very light. I use it for films, music and photos and it is quality. Only diff from brand new was a dead pixel which would annoy some but for the cash I paid I hardly notice it

£430 off Tottenham Court Road (internet retailer also) back in April...they've prob got cheaper now

samsung x10/x20 can be had for around £400 these days, very light and VERY thin. Google them
