Chaps we all love a well trimmed bush….

I need to plant a bush that:

1. Flowers
2. Is perennial and hardy
3. Is fairly dense but doesn’t grown higher than about 1m
4. Likes full sun

Any ideas? Lavender is a pain and doesn’t flower long enough, hebes are pants, box just gets diseased and dies.

What soil pH do you have? Is it acidic, neutral or alkaline?

As certain plants like acidic others like chalky/lime soils.

Thanks for the help - ended up going for miniature lilacs - hardy, perennial, grows to about 1m and flowers early spring to late summer - it’s a new RHS variety - can’t remember the name
