to clear up the cooler/case issue,

My tuniq Tower fits into the case easily, although it blocks my powersupplies fan.

How ever the front fan is practically blocked except for a small slit at the bottom. The fans are however very quiet, and the case looks very good in real life.

I found that my temps with the side of the case on and the TT were no better than the stock cooler as I had to remove the Funnel on the side pannel which help keep the CPU cooler cooler. It idled around 45C with the TT.

with the side of the case off my q6600 a 3 GHz idels around 28C.

at load with the side on it get's to about 70C, with it of I don't get above 55C, both temps at 3ghz.

and edit: I would recomend you don't get a P35C-DS3R.

why not get that mobo? i know some have had random problems but thats because they should rma it. its a solid mobo.

it has some dodgy sytematic memory faults, which can be compensated for and to a certain extent ignored, but there still there.

It won't run 4x DDR2 dimms very well, the northbridge over heats, it over volts ram, and it has a large vdroop to name a few of mines problems.

I didn't RMA as I couldn't be bothered, it work ok.

By all means when they work there great, and the above problems may have been fixed in a BIOS release, but I haven't bothered to check.

mine's also a revision 1.1, but I heard about the problems with the latest revisions too, I'd avoid it myself.

The abit IP35 (not the pro) is supposed to be ok, and around the same price.

go for the abit one. They are very well made boards. The bios is very user friendly for overclockers. Though ive only ever looked into the abit ip35 pro and the quad gt.
