Im looking again at getting a multi media pc to plug into my hd t.v in my living room... I dont want a mouse and keyboard and would prefer a remote. is this possible?

also looked at the Atom 1.6ghz but im a bit confused as all the netbooks seem to have the same spec as the small form factor pc's but people say that these suck at Hd content.

Would i be better making my own? I dont need Blueray drive as have ps3 just something for Hd films and musis with hdmi drive

Would also like big harddrive is this possible? like 1tb or higher or would a external be better (just worried about any slow down) gonna be using for home videos im filming on my hd camera as well as streaming iplayer etc.

Thanks for help

Why not just use the PS3 anyway? I'm sure you can get a TV Tuner to work... it's relatively easy to install Linux on it anyway, and legal.

It supports another hard drive too.

install linux on ps3? can i still play my games on it>?

Yes you can, although I read somewhere that with the latest PS3 software release they were blocking the ability to install another OS, (although llease don't quote me on this as I could be completey wrong). Having read the above post, maybe that just applies to the slim PS3???

well not got slim got 160gb Hd also so would be good if does work... also I wonder if i could just play hs content from external Hd into ps3? anyone know if this is doable
