Spec me a.. Mini Digger :D

Right, I was confused at first as to where the best place to post this would be as a mini digger doesn't have '2 wheels or 4' lol

Anyway, my dad is looking to buy a second hand mini-digger for around £5000 or under. Something like a 1.5 tonne - 2.5 tonne would be ideal (+ trailer if possible?). I'm wondering if anyone knows where the best place to find a good deal one of these would be with low hours or if anyone has any friends/contacts that are selling these sort of things

I have checked out the bay and there's nothing too promising on there. Have also checked autotrader but to no avail.

Hope someone can help as I know that this is quite a wierd topic for the Motors section of the forum

Trucktrader. It's like Autotrader but it has big stuff in it. And mini diggers.

Ah sorry, yeah I went on autotrader and clicked 'plant' and 'trucks' but still nothing too great.

There's a Case C15/CX15 for around £5K.. Old, but for £5K you don't get much for your money!..

You could always goto Digger auctions there are afew up and down the country. Go to Plant Hire companys and see if they are selling off there older diggers

My bosses bro-in-law owns a plant hire and sales company, i'll ask him tomorrow what you could get with your budget. Would you want it delivered or would you be able to pick up?.

There's a few on there, been a while since i drove one, but JCB and Kubota were ok makes back in the day. You'd be looking at £1.5k for a trailer on top too.

Depends where from - I live near Peterborough and would be willing to travel within a radius of around 75 miles. Anything more than that and I could arrange a meet half way or full delivery.
