I'm no gamer, and I don't want any of those robotic, cyborg designs. I just want something that is going to be comfortable to use and looks good, preferably wired as well.

I don't really want to spend more than £60 for the pair.

Thank you! :)

I should have said this actually, in fact, I had every intention of doing so but I completely forgot! Anyway, I don't like the illuminated keys on the gaming keyboards, and the mouse has to be plain.

think most gaming keyboards can have the back light switched off, my old eclipse and new g510 can.

I like the shape of the standard logitech mice and have been using those for years the mx510 is a great all round mouse.

logitech 600 media keyboard i've used before is ok if you don't want a "bells and whistles" gaming keyboard

Logitechs are easily available locally, if you need to have a look at them. I'd do that, and see if they are good for gaming. Dunno about the K200 personally.

The UltraX has a 'laptop' mechanism. Scissor + dome membrane. Not sure about the K200, but it looks similar (low profile usually have that technology).

Mx518 is a great mouse. I'm pretty sure everyone will agree (unless you're left handed). I've had mine for 4 years or something crazy like that! It's the old 1600dpi one :P

As for a keyboard I would go for anything made by Logitech.

I like my Microsoft Digital Media 3000, cost about the same as the one above...laptop keys, loads of function keys, size seems about perfect.

Only problem is you wouldnt mistake it for costing more, the typing feel is a bit spongy.
