Spec me a mouse

I've always been a Microsoft mouse fan. I read all the hype about the Logitech MX510 which I currently have, and to be honest I feel a bit ripped off after paying about £30 for it a couple of years ago. Never really did like Logitech's software, anyway.

Anyway, I'm on the hunt for a Microsoft Optical mouse. A cheap one, importantly with browser back/forward buttons on the side (I couldn't have a mouse without those, now) - but the second most important thing to me, is the scroll wheel must click/notch as I scroll the wheel.

I heard some of the MS mice are a smooth rotation, and I'm not sure if I would like.

I'd never go back to Microsoft, but if you have to the Intellimouse / Habu are their best to date.

Mice: Dont believe the hype!! - and I have to say, I regret masturbating over £30 on this mouse.

I shall see what the cheaper MS mice are like, and then look on the famous auction site.

Probably the re-released Intellimouse v3.0 at ~£25 is your best bet if you want a Microsoft mouse. I'm still using an original one quite regularly, I picked up a spare secondhand for £5 although that was a stroke of luck.
