Currently got a no frills Gigabyte GM something optical mouse, looking to upgrade to something nice.

Max budget is £30, mouse will be used primarily for gaming (WoW, TF2, Skyrim mainly) BUT has to be comfortable for browsing.

Currently looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-028-ST seems to get good reviews, plus that price is darn good. Only thing I don't like about that one is the orange logo, but that can be changed in the software.

Will probably order Tomorrow, if that's any help.

Not liking the R.A.T at all, couldn't really drop £40 on it.

G400 looks quite good, seems to be a bit of a faff if I wanted to bind certain buttons for WoW. (Search seems to suggest binding the ability to say shift+1, then setting the button to do that)

Definitely between the G400 and the WoW mouse now.

g400 seems to be less flawed than the g500 according to reviews. as long as you get a model made in late 2011 and onwards, you get a flawless mouse (no acceleration or prediction). get one!

Deathadder Black Edition! Very good mouse, feels solid and is for bigger hands (if you have big hands?)

I love it anyway!

Deathadder - great mouse, no tracking or driver issues in 8 months but could not get used to the long palm grip. Mousewheel isn't very clicky while scrolling, rare issues.

G5/G500 - Fantastic shape and buttons, no tracking issues in my experience, but the mousewheel is pants. It can accidentally roll an extra click as the resistance isn't consistent.

RAT7 - Same as the RAT3 in basic terms. Fantastic claw-grip comfort coming from a G9, but I have had so many issues with side buttons not registering/double-registering, and tracking is pants on my Boogie Bug.

I'd say go for the G5 unless you rely on the mousewheel for gaming like I do.

After plenty of reviews and searching I eventually decided on the WoW mouse, figuring if the worst came to the worst I could return it and get a different mouse.

Arrived today and I love it, it just fits. Only issue so far is the button for the right pinky finger, which I was expecting from the reviews. For the price it's at here at OcUK it's bargaintastic!

(Free Haribo too, definitely top marks)
