I'm doing a PhD so spending a lot of time on PC in uni. My wrist on my mouse hand starts to ache after a while so can someone spec me a cheap but comfortable mouse? Not for gaming so doesn't need to be any kind of high dpi monster :p.

I've got a logitech gaming mouse on my home PC (no idea what model) which is fine, possibly because it's slightly longer.

Thanks in advance!

how cheap is cheap? wired or wireless?

Probably under £30, but the cheaper the better. I don't mind, but I assumed wired is cheaper

What type of surface will you be using it on?

Just a plain old mouse mat

Looks good! Will wait to see if any better ideas, but yeah that might be my X-mas present to myself!

G400 seems like a solid choice for the money, logitech have great build quality and amazing CS should you ever need it.

Yeah, that's what I'm going to go for. I've been thinking how long I've had my one at home for and realized it's been going for about 7 years :p, it explains why the label has worn away!
