Spec me a netbook

My gf's laptop kicked the bucket last night and am pretty sure I want to replace it with a netbook! Want something high end that will play some games, obviously not crysis but something fun! Any suggestions welcome!

gaming laptopwise (which it sounds like you want) take a look at OCUKs custom range. can out a good gfx chip in em even if you skimp on the other bits
 
It depends really what kind of games you'd like to play. You can get netbooks now with the ION chipset and dual core Atoms that will happily play even newer games, even if it is on lower settings, although if you have the cash you might be better off getting a better laptop with better specs.
 
Had a quick look at the Ferrari one from acer. It has a very good spec and is a good price imo. Gf is not keen on the badging tho. Wonder if you can get a similar spec without the badging?

You can get an Acer 1810TZ. For an extra 50 quid you get a normal colour, almost the same chassis, better touchpad, HDMI, 3GB RAM, larger 320gig HDD, dual core CULV processer (many times faster than a netbook), longer battery life (6-11 hours depending on settings) and it doesn't have the stupid Ferrari badge on the lid :)
