Spec me a netbook

Thinking of getting the mother a netbook for her bday.
Will be mainly used for the internet and never for games.
Would be nice if it came with windows 7.

She is a regular middle-aged female pc user, so doesn't need to be any flagship model or anything.

Budget around £200-£250.

Samsung NC10 is a nice netbook.....

built-in wifi, bluetooth, webcam, 1Gb ram (upgradeable to 2Gb) 160gb hdd and a reasonable screen which apparently with the latest driver updates from Samsung can actually display higher than the quoted 1024x600 resolution which is standard.

Only thing is comes with XP Home not 7, but it runs 7 like a dream.

NC10 is a little older than the latest Samsung netbooks (but still a great netbook nevertheless), you might want to consider the N110, N130, N120, N140 - all within your budget.

They are all much of a muchness really - you need to look out for the keyboard and mousepad size. The N310 (6 cell version) looks v nice to me and have just ordered it from the US for £240 (inc del/import taxes)..
