Spec me a netbook

I haven't bought a laptop in 4 years so I need help choosing a netbook. I have a budget of around £300 and I need it for college. I will be using it for word processing and programming. I would hope it was capable of playing HD videos, good battery life and with the possibility to add or upgrade ram. It's a huge step down from my i7 950 and 6950. I am welcome to any suggestions. I would preferably like an Asus Model. Thanks
