Essentially have monitor mouse kb etc, I also have a nice enermax 950w psu. Gaming will be at 1080, but looking to upgrade monitor to qhd or 4k in next couple of years. If I could get a decent system that would play at qhd I'd be happy, but willing to game at 1080 then maybe upgrade the graphics card when I go 4k down the line. Many thanks in advance. (ps: I'm not a fan boy of amd or intel, I just like the best bang for buck!)

Hi.

WiFi needed.

Would you be prepared to stretch your budget to accommodate the latest platform to give you better upgrade ability. ? £750

Ideally 32gb of memory should be the choice but 16gb can be used to lower budget.

It can be done in budget if you go previous generation

Hi, hardwired 6a to every room lol :p Looking for next gen processor ram and mboard, graphics card that will do 1080 at 100+ fps for the time being, like I said, I have a monster psu, have a case too, but if there is something super nice, I'll be tempted, could prob stretch to 700, thanks again

(my wife won't like this but could go £800 at a push lol )

£700.

Rx 6600 will do 1080p.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £699.90 (includes delivery: £7.99)

This video might be of interest:

Admittedly a 7900 GRE would be most of your budget.

If the system is purely for gaming then a Asrock a620m pro RS and 7500F should cut the price down a fair chunk.

Bang for buck, 5700X + A520/B550 and DDR4.

I got the psu from a server rack, so it's not like it's done any hard work.. it's still gold lol! I used my electric duster (i'm sure I saw an animal come out lol), honestly, I don't know how I survived without one, they cost 60 quid, but you can clean whole pc and anything else in the house in literally 5 minutes.. The person using the comp, isn't really into fps, more strategy etc, like I said, more interested on the new cpu/mboard/ram side of things, if it plays 100fps on fortnite on the odd chance they do play a bit of fps great.. If we can get the cpu mboard ram sorted, then later can upgrade graphics card,

sorry for my late reply, had a bit of a family crisis, hence not checked til today, many thanks to everyone who gave suggestions, likely go for 16gig ram, 1600 or 5600xt, the b550, and the ryzen 5600, still checking the psu's prob go for 850+ gold with the way she uses. Many thanks again.
