Spec me a new carbon disc road bike

To add to the above, my total bike build was about £1450 for all components but then another £50 or so for tools and bits that I needed. Since then I've replaced the crankset and added a PM so it's increased some more. If you have the time/energy then I'd definitely recommend it as the way to go.

edit:

Actually, you're probably looking at another £80 cheaper if you get less blingy peddles.

Here's my old google doc when I was putting the build together. I used a few different places for various parts and also CRC with the British Cycling 10% discount to get a lot of others.

Looks nice. I may paint my frame but I'm not sure yet. Maybe something subtle. I've been looking at Yoeleo wheels as they seem very reputable and the price isn't hugely more than competitors. Did you buy the groupset as a bundle and not use the brakes? I've seen the Ultegra groupset with disc brakes from Merlin but I might go for the slightly cheaper 105 and save myself £150

Nope, I compared prices and at the time (may not be true any more) it was cheaper to buy everything separately. 105 level hydraulics weren't available back then and to be honest I wanted something at least a little bling so I insisted on ultegra or above level :p It makes much more sense to get 105 11 speed though from a value for money point of view.

Just to add another into the mix.

Cube Agree C:62 Disc

Not much red on it though. I saw one of these at the Birmingham bike show last year and was very impressed. It’s my potential next bike if BMC don’t do the TMR02 in a disc for 2017.
That Ghost does love very nice.

Great looking frame. Colour is spot on too, especially with the wheel decals.

I'm a bit new to bike builds. An Ultegra bottom bracket would be a threaded BB. I have options for the frame of going with BSA/PF30. Do either of those take threaded bearings or do I need an adapter?

If you go for pressfit (be it pf30, bb30, bb386evo, bbomgwtfbbq) you'll need an adapter and a superhuman amount of patience to put up with the inevitable creaking :p

Go with BSA. The bottom bracket isn't as big so isn't as stiff so oh noes the wattz you'll lose, but meanwhile back in the real world at least they work.

BSA will take a threaded BB (such as an Ultegra HTII BB). Just make sure that it's the same size thread - English/68mm is the most common.
