Spec me a new game to play. Flight Sim X?

OK im looking for a new game to play.

Getting a bt bored of CS:S and I need something that will push my system to the limits.

STALKER just annoyed me and ive finished play CoH and Civ4 for a while. Dont like Supreme commander and Lost Planet. Ive played NFS: Carbon.

So I was thinking of Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Played the demo and it seemed pretty decent.

Any other games people recommend?

F.E.A.R ive played.
Played Splinter Cell: Doulbe Agent.

DIRT - I dont like playing racing games on PC.

Played Call of Juarez. Played the demo of Condemned and it got a bit boring.
 
Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword (Expansion Pack)

this maybe some use if you liked civ

Errm, yes, yes it is.


Some people take it seriously, so it isn't a game for them.


Im in the middle, I do Concorde flights by the book, but thats only cos im learning so I can use the real sim :D :D

Otherwise its messing around in 747s doing backflips etc :p
 
Should I buy a joystick and stuff if I get FSX?

It seemed quite hard to fly with a keyboard on the demo.

I went to trade Flight Sim in at a high street shop and was offered 1p for it, if you liked the demo, send me an email and you can have my copy gratis, i wont play it again, it wasnt my cup of tea.

A analogue joystick (with throttle and hat) is a must, for any "flight" type sims/games.

FS has always been and will always be a SIMULATOR. It is NOT a game.
SWOTL and BOB were flight combat games.

I find FS boring as paint drying, but that's beside the point.
