Spec me a new PC

Hi all,

Been a while since I've put together a PC.

I've got a budget of £500 or so and looking to build a PC that'll be used primarily for office work and that's probably about it!

That £500 needs to include an OS. What's the best bang for buck I can get these days?

Not sure how this is going to turn out I'm doing this on my phone.

350 quid with no operating system.

Best bang for buck is definitely source a windows 10 licence cheap online rather than pay 110 quid for it.

So it doesn't need to be Windows? What phone do you have? Some of them have desktop modes these days which are fine with email, browsers and such... Might be enough?

Desktop mode doesn't help me copy the basket. I've got a galaxy s5.

He needs it for office work so a phone/tablet probably won't suffice.

You understand, I'm not saying you do it directly on the phone. That's kind of the point. He didn't specify it had to be Windows, so might be an option. Office work might just be emails and web based things.
