hi guys is there an ADSL router out that will take a hard drive and allow downloads straight to the drive without the need of a computer?

If you want storage to be independent of any computer, buy a Network Attached Storage. N.A.S

I am not aware of one and I'm not sure if this is possible because the computer is required to control the download and specify the destination file location.

You can get network routers (without ADSL modem) that have USB ports for connecting hard drives to provide storage for the whole network, but a computer is still needed.

Anyone else?
