Spec me a new router

All depends what cabinet you are on in theory.

Lines connected to Huawei FTTC cabs generally perform well with broadcom based modem / routers. HG612's, Zyxel ZMG1312-B10a, TP-Link VR400, etc. I have just switched out my trusty old HG612 for a Zyxel B10a as the HG612 was starting to make a whining noise.

I've gained 2mb. The Zyxel has a better broadcom chipset than the HG612. We'll see how DLM responds.
 
Seen a couple of people confirm good results using a Zyxel VMG1312-B10a on an ECI cab.

I got mine for sub £20 brand new online. Needs to be a B10a though. Features the excellent Broadcom chipset.
