My E8400 is on 3.9GHZ on a stock cooler with minimal bios tweaks, could easily go further.

Thats why I went for it, read quite a few reviews saying they can get to 4Ghz

Careful about putting more than 1.4V Vcore through it though.

For a lot of people it's fine, but there are cases where the clock degrades. These 45nm chips are more stable than 65nm.

Whats the default voltage please ? just incase the motherboard gives it too much
