As per title, I'm looking for an ordinary mobile phone, not a smartphone. It's to replace an 8 year old Sony Ericsson one which is finally on its way out. So I'm looking for something that lasts several days (preferably over a week) on a charge, isn't too big or heavy, but most importantly is likely to last several years with a few bumps and drops along the way. I'd like it to have a standard numeric keypad rather than a full alphanumeric one. It doesn't have to be dustproof or waterproof (though it can be).

Internet is 100% optional. There will be no problem if it can only do texts and calls. If such a thing still exists, that is. But I would be put off by one that can't store more than the 10 text messages that tend to fit on a SIM card.

Any help appreciated.

Sometime back I was looking at these for some old dears...

can I post an a*****n link? search it for "TTfone Jupiter"

I maybe would have bought once myself for the car but it doesn't charge on USB.

Hmm, thanks guys. The Nokia 301 looks pretty good. Of course I doubt it'll last as long as the old brick-type ones used to, or the likes of the Samsung Solid range, but it certainly looks reasonably durable for a mainstream phone. Will have to do some further checking but I think this is a good start. If anyone thinks of any others not yet mentioned please do chip in. :)

You seem confused.

I still have these... and they all still work fine. :D

I bought the C1-01 only a couple of years back, when I got tired of smartphones. Not a bad little phone either.
