Spec me a notebook (paper) with a US flag on the front

A friend of mine is going travelling round the US for 3 months; she keeps saying that she wants to keep a diary while she's out there, a written one, but I know she'll forget to get one.

I'm looking for an A5 notebook with a US flag on the front.

I found this: http://www.gonedigging.co.uk/person.../usa-grunge-style-flag-personalised-notebook/ but including delivery it's £11, which I think is a rip off, looking to spend more like £5.

If one can't be found I don't mind trying to make one, but it needs to be pretty hard wearing and not look like a 5 year old made it so any tips from people who are good at crafts would be great.

Make a cover with a US flag.
Go to Staples and buy a wire bound notebook.
Rip the cover off.
Ask Staples staff to rebind the notebook with the US flag cover.

Or you could just buy loose paper, make fron and back covers and ask Staples to bind it. Some libraries might have binding facilities. Or a friend.

I didn't know Staples did rebindings.
I guess I'd have to buy the notebook then make the front cover so I know what size it should be though.
I like this idea.
