Yea the 955 is very good for the price.
Oh yes, I'm getting a 955 myself, but I'm not sure I really need it, but if you can afford it. More cores sounds fun, but never had more than 2 before so can't say yet how much of a difference it will make.

RAM - G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £84.99 - Can someone please find me an alternative. - Thanks.

Somebody already suggested some patriot 1333 ram. Some geil value should be fine as well, but is slightly more expensive I think. Don't bother with 1600 as your cpu will likely not be able to use it at that speed and even if it can the difference is insignificant.
Case is good enough in image above, it's been used in pre-built pcs here even and has had fine results plus the cpu cooler is good for the price. To be honest going for an i5 750/amd 955 with a Radeon 5770 which you want to aim for at your budget is a fair struggle so you have to go for a good budget case which it is.(you could spend a bit more to buy an Antec 300 but i personally think there's not much difference cooling wise)
By the way i got the Antec 902 case, it's got very good cooling and also it's only smaller heightwise than the 1200.
