spec me a pc

Hey i need a new pc due to my bios vreaking on old pc. I have a pci-express graphics card that needs to go on it. I do not need a new graphics card and i have a 500w power supply .

I have £400 to spend on everything i just want a rig that is upgradable and that can play games . I have a ide hardrive but wouldn't mind getting a new one if its a sata 2 mother board . If the motherboard is atx or micro atx form factor i do not need a case.

What GFX card do you have? Might be worth getting a new gfx if its a little outdated on that budget

Is the PC going to be overclocked at all? Before i post my spec.

In addition to the questions from Jaffa_Cake could you post the specifications of your PSU please. Just because it says 500w doesn't actually mean it is capable of that output.

The previous two's question are spot-on. Assuming that your PSU is credible how's this spec?:

You said upgradability is important so I made sure to include an excellent case as you'll be hanging on to it for a while. The Mobo is excellent as is the RAM. You should be able to get a significant overclock out of the CPU.

EDIT: If you discover you have more money to spend the first thing I'd spend it on is a better CPU cooler.
