What it all boils down to is ones perception of what intelligence constitutes. I consider intelligence in an animal to consist of ability to learn, ability to remember, ability to follow instructions, ability to use initiative. Dogs are clearly the superior animal otherwise we'd be using cats to save lives and guide blind people around.
I wouldn't expect a cat owner to understand that though![]()
