Spec me a pillow

Down and feather but make sure it's good quality.

I think many people are against feath and down pillows because they buy cheap ones which have crushed up feathers with loads of quill. If you buy a good quality feather and down pillow it's all tiny feathers with minimal quill, offers excellent support and ventilation.

I quite fancy a Dunlo pillow but I can't justify the expense at the moment

Got a pair of these at £25 each and a pair of cheap £7-8 IKEA pillows.
I find them as comfortable as each other. No neck ache etc from either in the 3+ years I've had them.

I just bought these a week ago, not opened them yet. People here will as usual recommend buying one pillow for £200 but all you need to do is go to a shop, have a good squeeze and see what feels good. More than £20 for a pair is unnecessary. I got rid of some old feather pillows, your head just sinks into them, there's not much support.

I have a selection of Dunlopillo and Ikea memory foams. Both excellent, but the Dunlopillo can be a bit heavy going. The Ikeas construction make them easier to breathe through when face down comatose.
