I bought 2 pairs of pillows from Dunelm last year and they're nowhere near as plump anymore. Two have gone fairly flat after about 6 months, and the other two called 'full forever' by Dorma are not as firm after about 3 months use, they're starting to sink in too much.

So i'm thinking of replacing them with better quality. Dreams do a pocket sprung pillow for £29, and there's also a latex pillow called Dunlopillo which John Lewis sell for about £60. Perhaps one of those would be good. Anyone know what pillow to get that will stay plump for a long time? I don't want goose feathers or anything like that because they will also flatten. Springs or latex sounds ideal. Tbh, I only need one, to prop me up comfortably while reading or using the laptop in bed.

I have tried many many pillows over the years and the only one that has lasted for me is a decent quality goose down pillow. Every time I have tried man made and stay full pillows they have lasted 6 months at best.

I have one that was £60 from Dunnelm, (I think it's this one http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/dorma-hungarian-white-goose-down-pillow-141508).

As long as it is properly maintained and regularly fluffed a decent goose down shouldn't go flat and will last years.

I love latex pillows. Arguably the best I have ever rested my head on. I have several older dunlopillo's that are fantastic. They changed the design in the newer ones and they are not as good. Lots of people online complaining about them. I've been browsing Amazon US that seem to have a lot of choice and ship to the uk. Going to try a shredded latex pillow next. Wish dunlopillo would make them like they used to.

I'm testing out a Healthbeds Cooltex latex pillow at the moment.

Quite nice, there's two versions. The low profile and high profile.

I'm using the low profile one at the moment on a spring mattress, but I might need to switch to a high profile one.

I'm awaiting delivery of a memory foam mattress, once that arrives the low profile one may be good as my body will sink a bit lower into the bed than on the current one.

It keeps it's shape very well, yet is squishy. It will return to it's original shape instantly if you take your head off it. I don't like the feather ones that stay squished flat once you lie on it.

They're about £60
