Right folks, hopefully somebody will know where i can get my hands on a 180 bar pressure gauge with a tell tale needle so i know the maximum pressure reached. Going to be reading fluid pressures from 130 to 180 bar.
Try a diving shop, we used to fill our Air tanks for our paintball guns in one. Or failing that maybe paintball equipment suppliers. The bulk fill was 3000 psi and a top up from the 3500psi tank.
Yeah, i'm putting together an injector pop tester for when i change the shims on the injectors in my 406 (175 standard for diesel down to 140-145 for veg, better combustion).
There are dozens of "how to" guides to make one, but they all seem to use a standard "active" needle gauge and with the speed an injector fires at the needle will be moving too fast to get an accurate reading.
