Spec me a Projector

Hi guys,

Recently installed Virtual DJ Pro and am going to hook it up to my DJ Decks and Mixer so I can play video whilst I'm DJing and so I'm after a projector to plug into my PC which will display on a blank white wall.

Ideally not too shabby, but not too amazing, I don't want to spend silly money, just want something to do the job really -

Not sure how much help I can be, but we got a cheap (<£1k) Infocus projector about 2 years ago from Richer sounds, and it's been brilliant! It's only 720P but that's enough for us

If you're going to different locations, you want one which has a lot of adjustment on screen size/distance, and it would help to have one with lens shift in case you aren't able to put the projector exactly in front of the screen.

I bought an Epson TW3200 last year which is a cheap 1080p projector and has lens shift. It's pretty big though so not good to carry around - I liked that because it meant it runs cooler and has a quieter fan.
