SPec me a PS3 driving game please

Chaps ,

I have had my PS3 since christmas and never played a game on it yet ( was bought for Blue Ray ) . Since I play all my games on the PC I thought it about time ,since I was fed up with BF2 TF2 and L4Dead that I give the console a go .

I would love an easy to get into car racing game please , nothing to complicated to set up , just load and go please .

Grid is pretty easy going, try the new NFS shift demo on PSN, if you are looking for more "hardcore" races try GT5P, Ferrari Challenge or Supercar Challenge.

Midnight Club LA is quite fun as an arcade racer with upgrades/street racing..

I really enjoyed it on the 360..

But yeah, Grid, Dirt 2, Burnout Paradise are also ace.. it depends on the type of racing you want..

I'm going to get GT5. I don't play a lot of driving games so that will do for me I think. there are demos of DIRT2 and NFS shift on PSN. Probably a few more as well.

I would go with Grid. Best racer I've played this generation.

Try your hands on GT5 Prologue, there's a cheap copy of it going over in the members market

Grids pretty good, online gameplay is very frustrating though with many, many inbreds smashing into you because your quicker and more talented than them.

Grid and GT Prologue are the only 2 I would recommend and obviously GT5 when released.
