Spec me a PSU and cooler please

Ok, from my previous thread finally worked out that it's my PSU that died :(

Need to get another asap, any reccomendations, nothing too expensive. Oh and can't have a fan underneath as it is for my HTPC so quiet is also important.

Also as I'm getting a psu any decent coolers, for a sockete 939 ?

The really good quiet PSUs all have large fans on the bottom. Can you turn it upside down?

What's it need to power?

How much room do you have for a CPU cooler in your case? The best 939 coolers are typically the same coolers that are the best for current rigs.

Problem is my case is the HTPC case so now real room for dual fan psu's. It's like the height of a psu if that makes sense.

Spec is not great ( athlon 64 3200, 1gb ram, 2 HDD, DVD writer, onboard sound and gfx )

CPU room is ok, not measured it but nothing too massive just quiet and decent ?
 
whoops just checked and psu can be fitted upside down and gives about extra 1-2 cm clearance.

hmm might be why it was overheating !! :p

In that case any reccomendations on decent PSU's nothing too pricey.
 
How about an Antec EarthWatts 380 W PSU and an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro? Whip out a ruler and see if you have the height the Freezer needs. It's not huge by today's standards but it's taller than most. It'd be a very nice smallish quiet cooler.

Antec earthwatts range is pretty good. 1 rear fan and are pretty cheap.
