Spec me a PSU

Well my Hiper type R PSU has just failed in my bro's computer, so i'm in need of a new PSU.

What's the most reliable make to choose?

It's going to be powering; AMD x2 CPU, 7800 GT card, and one 7.2k RPM hard disk. 500W should be enugh? or maybe lower! What do you guys think?

Cheaper the better, but not so cheap that it'l just die.

Any help would be much appriciated

corsair HX 520w modular PSU - £68.14inc VAT.

If you can't stretch to the Corsair then an Akasa 460w would be my next suggestion at around £50.

I'v just bought the Corsair HX 620W for my new rig (see sig), very nice and not too noisy.

I would recommend the 520W for your system.
