I've got a couple of formal dinners coming up, and figure that it's about time that I bought a tux rather than continuing to rock up wearing my suit. However, I'm loathe to spend significant money on one as I'll only wear it a couple of times a year. What's the best place for a reasonably priced tuxedo? M&S? Moss? Slaters?

Thanks!

Cheers guys, will be going in store as I need it for Friday, so will have a look in Lewin first, and then move on to Moss or M&S if they have nothing in budget. Any other thoughts

Any cheap suit will do... M&S, Debenhams...

It might be worth trying a couple to see the nuances between fit, but really, it's usually dim lighting and everyone is drinking. Unless you have lots and lots of disposable income, it's really not worth spending money on an expensive dinner jacket.

Laugh all you want but Oxfam often has some good quality suits in.

I don't think you can beat tailored myself but if you must go off the peg then house of fraiser is generally quite good and reasonably well priced, not sure if they do tuxedos though.
