Spec me a relaxing city builder with longevity

I really enjoyed the 1st one haven't played any of the others. Which one is the best one to go for, is it the latest one?

Sunk the most time into Tropico 4, but to be honest, 3,4 and 5 are not massively different from each other. There is however Tropico 6 on the steam store, no release date yet other than 2018. Its been a few years since one came out, so quite looking forward to it.
