Spec me a replacement for 9800GTX

Yo guys!

So I tried to play Counter Strike and my comp greeted me with a screen of random colours and then froze, now I'm getting a lot of random graphics glitches and low resolution so I believe my 9800GTX has finally given up on me.

I've been out of the hardware game since I built my pc a few years ago. Could you guys spec me a graphics card that will work with my Asus P5KC?

What's the rest of the spec? Budget?

Best value for the performance it gives is the 7950.

Rest of my components are;
CPU: Intel Q9450
PSU: Corsair TX650w
Sound Card: SoundBlaster X-Fi FATAL1TY Xtreme Gamer
RAM: 4GB OCZ ReaperX HPC

My budget is around £150 the less the better of course.

I've been looking at GTX 650Ti, is it worth getting?

Seeing as your on Socket 775, the fastest card that will not be majorly bottle necked would be something like a 7850 / 650 ti.

Get a 7850 I'd say.

Yeah for £150 all you're gonna be recommended is a 7850 (which is a really good card) or maybe 580 if you look around.

After searching around and comparing prices I went for the this week only offer on OcUk for the 650ti. I realise I get more bang for buck with the 7850 but I'm better saving the extra cash so I can move out.
