We are looking to get a roof box for our 2010 Ford C-Max. We have the roof bars already.

Family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids, 2yo, 5yo, and 8yo) We are going to stay in a cottage in a few weeks time, it has washing machine and dryer so we wont be needing to take a weeks worth of clothes for all of us. However, we do need a box that can fit a pushchair in when collapsed. Its not a massive pushchair, slightly more bulky than those cheapo strollers you can get. At a rough measurement, its 30cm thick/high when laid on its side and 120ish long. Anyone with experience with this situation?
To add, the boot is taken up by the dog and his crate. The pushchair, if push comes to shove, can fit behind the driver and passenger seats but the kids might have to have their legs up a bit which might be a bit crappy for them for a 3 hour drive.

Go Outdoors also have a selection, and frequently have sales.
If you have a Defence Discount, Blue Light, or similar card, the benefits from those usually stack in addition to any sales discounts, too!

Halfords do a range, if you have one nearby they might have them physically on display, you could take the pushchair and test?
Have you been to Halfords recently? Hardly any staff to ask for help. Only just managed to get the right roof bars today from there. Ball ache and a half that was. If you wonder why we didn't get roof box as well, my next door neighbour had one we could borrow but he got rid since we asked last year.

My wife has blue light and we are members of Go outdoors but the boxes they have available are out of stock online. I can't remember if we ever seen them in the store though. Might have to pop over during the weekend and have a look.

Ah fair, our local one is pretty good.

Excellent range.
That is my go to website for anything 'on top of the car' related. I'll be getting an Atera box at some point. I've been massively impressed with all their products so far.

I bought a Thule, gets used loads every summer. Not missed a beat.

Either way, get the largest you can as the space always comes in handy with kids, I got the XL size and this is how it looked on my 5 estate:

No reason for showing you that except for :cry:

@Maccy You think it's time to merge all these same spec me's into some super roof box thread? Just saying as that thread looks to have some useful info in for newbies etc :)
