Spec me a router for my BE connection (Netgear died :( )

I am looking at routers but want to keep the cost down if possible but at the same time i want to be able to do a lot with it.

Iv been happily running a Netgear DG834GT on my BE connection and it loved it, now its broke

Iv had to revert to a Linkys AG241 which is an ADSL2+ router, it works but its making a hell of a mess with my connection, but then i realised that this particular model is quite an old one.

Would there be any other linksys routers worth going for? or should I go back to Netgear?

If you are happy with the DG834GT, then i would recommend going back and getting one, why have you said yours has died what happened?

death is frequently the psu's which are replacable

Nah its the ADSL Broadcom chip, dont know what happened but I was moving a load of new furniture about, must have fried it or knocked it hard as it wont even attempt to sync anymore, works fine with other routers.

Luckly it didnt fry the whole thing an im still using it as a firewall, VPN, DHCP server, Wireless access point but with a linksys infront of it for now (which by the way is crap on my connection) Linksys AG241 so looking for either another DG834GT or other router that will work well
