Spec me a RPG please...

Ok cool guys will check them out. Just order NWN 1 bundle and am looking at Morrowind and Baldur's Gate! I just want to make sure they work on vista as I'm not really up on vista and its compatibility issues. Maybe i shouldn't believe the hype! The Witcher intrests me too.

Morrowind is the game to play. I am tempted to play it again soon.

My god, how did I forget that... Yes, if you must play one recent RPG, THIS is the one to go for.

Genuinely emotional at points, had the hair on the back of my neck standing up like no other game has done in a while, incredible story, great voice acting, blah blah blah... Play it!

EDIT: Oh, and the music is excellent too.

I take it you are referring to the witcher?

If you register the enhanced edition of The Witcher, the CDProjeckt website lets you download the entire game soundtrack and an 'inspired by' soundtrack for the Witcher, and it's absolutely brilliant. Some of the stuff on the inspired by album is fantastic, listen to it all the time.

Ok so i purchased neverwinter nights platinum edition and patched it to 1.69. Now i spend all my gaming time playing this on my i7 920, gtx 295 and 6gb of ram 1500 buck gaming pc. couldn't be more happy tho! Cheers guys

Not a reason to get the game on its own, but it's a good game in its own right.

The witcher is a terrible game, with a boring story, rubbish combat system and very very linear game play.

Its like saying mindsweeper is a rpg.

Not sure about the story - seemed pretty awful but only managed to stick it out for 2-3 hours.

Agreed on the dire combat system % gameplay though.

I'd avoid it.

Baldur's Gate I + Tales of the Sword Coast + Baldur's Gate II can be played as one game (Baldur's Gate Trilogy) the creator is on the forums & usually responds within a few hours if you have any trouble.

Might be worth sliding the difficulty to 'easy' for the first 10-20 hours - it's a little rough if you don't what you're doing.

Just buy everything Bioware has ever made - it's all good.
