Spec me a run around

AutoTrader search: Within 10 miles, Fuel Type Petrol, Max Price £1000. One of my favourite passtimes.

Focus is probably the best bet. Picked up a 2002 1.6 Zetec for £800 earlier this year for the GF to run round in. It's slow, it looks a bit tired, but there's something so right about the way it drives.
 
Where are all the private sale cars these days? about 90% of every car I seem to see for sale is 'trade'. AutoTrader/PistonHeads/eBay.

Is there anywhere else other than local papers for private sale cars?
