I still never understand why people ask for advice if they've already made the decision to ignore all that advice.

I've lost nothing if its not suitable...I was advised this was a decent saddle for my needs from someone else.

I ordered online.. got a text saying it was in store...when I got there it wasn't.
So I said...this isn't really on...I had taken the afternoon off work to pick a sadlle up from a Bike shop and they didn't have it even though the emails and texts said they did.
The manager looked embarrassed. And said he would ring me personally on Monday when the saddle comes in and I can have it for free to apologies for the inconvenience.

Free saddle. Ordered one online to pick up from store...went the store and they didn't have it.
So the manager said if I popped in today he would give it me free

Completely anecdotal, but my dad has a saddle of a similar soft cushioned shape, complete with gel-pak over cover for extra comfort.. Twenty minutes on that thing and my pelvis felt like it was going to split.
Conversely my carrera saddle, which according to my dad 'looks like a razor blade' lol, I can happily ride on 8 hours plus.
