Not exactly a huge amount of level 4 missions, especially if you salvage afterwards. Takes a while to get to the stage where you can do them quickly though.
forget about paying for eve with isk you wont earn enough as a noob, just pay in real money while you learn the game. Takes a long time to earn 280 mill with no skills and a frigate
If your wanting to mine you want to be aiming towards a Hulk. As mentioned, get your drone skills up and use them to destroy the Rats that will try and trouble you. Pickup any drops and sell them to further boost your cash. However mining will get monotonous but it can be a means to an end and let you buy better ships however your combat skills will be neglected.
High end missions can be highly profitable with drops etc.
Don't bother mining in a Frigate, if you really must you can do a half decent job in an Osprey cruiser or ideally train up mining barges. They have drones to kill rats and are pretty tough, especially exhumers.
However in reality you will make much more money from combat. ie doing missions. so just go frigate -> destroyer -> Cruiser -> battlecruiser -> Battleship and do level 4s like everyone else.
There is fine and then there is breeze through them easy mode which you can do with less skills in a battleship. Ravens are easy enough to fit with moderate skills for level 4's but even then he is a long way off that and is asking for advice on frigates and noob ships.
tbh if you can only fly frigates then find a nice lvl 1 security/internal security agent and rip some combat missions apart. will soon get you more money than mining in a bantam would.
once you get a bigger ship then you can choose the industrial career path. you always need some ISK to start and nothing is as easy as lvl 1 missions.
