I want a SSD that will have enough space for my OS - Win 7 Ultimate-and my applications as well as having space for 2-3 games, COD4 and BFBC2.

Would the Intel 40GB X25-V be big enough or should I be looking at the OCZ 60Gb SATA 2 Vertex or the Kingston SSD V+ Series 64GB?

I dont really want to spend as much as £150 on a SSD, thats why I was hoping the Intel 40GB X25-V would suffice.

Looking at the Steam version system requirements for those games, Call of Duty 4 lists 8GB and Battlefield 2 Bad Company 2 lists 15GB.

Depending on what applications you plan to have installed too, I'd think the Intel 40GB would be too small.

Don't know if OCZ and Kingston state actual disk size equal to free space once a partition is made, or if they follow mechanical drive manufactures sizing. So you could lose a large amount of space after creating partition.
