Spec me a steering wheel

You may remember a couple of weeks ago I posted about my steering wheel getting nicked and having to bodge a replacement with something from Dodgy Dan's Car Breakers. Now I'm finally getting around to getting it fixed up properly, so I've ordered a new steering column spindle (the outer jacket I already have is fine).

The kicker is Vauxhall don't make the wheel I need any more, and any more modern replacement will cost hundreds. So I've decided to go for an aftermarket wheel (plus boss kit).

So what would you recommend? I'm currently looking at this just because it's the first decently priced thing Google turned up, but I have no idea about this kind of thing so I'd appreciate your input.

Its an Astra, nothing rare. There are hundreds of online breakers and parts brokers and tons of Astra steering wheels on ebay. There's no excuse for fitting tat like that to your car

I have looked all over google and Ebay and come up empty. If you've found one, please link me to it.
 
All three of those are later models, and as such their steering wheels will have airbags in them. I need one without an airbag.
 
The second one doesn't include the horn button. I could already have bought one without a horn button from the manufacturer, but was told it would fail the MOT.
 
Someone will be breaking one the right shape, you just have to find them. Submit a request for the part to the broker above and the other similar ones. Spend more than the 30s I spend on ebay finding breaking Astras
 
Yeah I've already submitted a request to that breaker's site you linked. I've searched Ebay high and low and I cannot for the life of me find an airbagless steering wheel for a mk3 astra.
 
Or stick one on with an air bag and just leave it disconnected.
 
Was just about to suggest the same thing

I actually did this on my first car (a 306) because the non airbag wheel looked like it came from a bus

I was going to, but iaind told me off for it. :(

Edit: and the steering wheels with airbags in them look horrible. The whole reason I'm doing this is to tidy up the area in front of the driver's seat.

No he was steering (no pun) you away from a chav Momo offering :)

Get an airbag one for a score already, the other 9 million Astra drivers put up with them.
