Spec me a storage drive

I got a new rig recently, based on a mATX board, housed inside an Aerocool QS-180, so it's nice and compact.

I have a 240gb SSD running Windows 10 and my Steam games + Battlefield 4, but now I'm obviously running low on space.

This rig is 90% for gaming, so I don't need a ton of storage space, but enough to house my Steam games.

I can't decide whether a SSHDD is worth it? And whether to go for 2.5 or 3.5 inch form factor.

Ideas, recommendations etc welcome :)

Hey there, LordPablo.

I'd recommend against going for an SSHD. In my opinion it's OK for a main drive compared to an HDD, but since you already have an SSD, adding up an HDD would be quite sufficient.
Since you've asked for recommendations, I'd suggest that you check the features and specs of the WD Black drive (3.5"). It's a drive with a higher performance compared to the WD Blue for example, but since you've mentioned you're going to play your games off of it, it might be a good choice. It also comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
You may check it out here: WD Black.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,
If you go 2.5" I would get a Samsung M9T 2TB, it’s one of the best 2.5" drives @2TB. The Samsung M8 is also very good for 1TB. If you go 3.5" I would go for a HGST drive, I have a 4TB one and it’s been great. If you need less than 500GB I would go for an SSD as it makes installing and loading games faster.
